I called my tenant and he took care of the problem as like greased lightning as he could but the problem ended up taking 3 days to resolve. I go to to a load of rinse out today and now my washer won't work. It worked without blemish the day since the sewer backed up and adjectives times before that. Should my tenant cover this expense or am I out of luck? Funny thing is the simply reason I chose this apt. over another be because of the private w/d hookup.Answers: you need renters insurance. i would transmit him what happened and see if he'll clear for fixing it. i think it would be not easy to prove. i am serious about looking into renters insurance and see what it offer for the future
