What's the difference between forclosure and default?Answers: Default = you haven't compensated on your loan.
Foreclosure = you haven't paid on your loan, and they took the house.
You are the De Fault they are For Closure of your loan, and house..
Who is rightfully responsible?
If you own a rental house and their is a gas leak, but the renters do not insist on you of it till they recieve their extremely high gas bill. and you without beating about the bush fix the problem . also the contract states that the renters are responsible for rapairs and maintenance if it is cause by their neglect, who is responsible for the gas bill?Answers: The tenant. You did your job by repairing the problem right away. If these culture lived in the house beside the smell of gas for such a long time, and did not notify you of it, this should not be your concern.
Also, be aware that this kind of behavior may be an excuse not to retribution rent. I have see this kind of behavior within just this concerned of situations. Especialy if there is clear satchel of neglect. If they stopped paying you, start evicting them right very soon. Do not wait, do not even devise about it, send for your evictions guy and start the process to get rid of them.
If they are paying you, you may work something out next to them, by giving them a $100-$200 discount on their NEXT months rent. You do not want to lose paying tenants.

gas leak are not normallly renter fault.
and hard/expensive to prove.
renters NEVER should be responsible for gas repairs NEVER EVER. unles u close to place blowing up.
Be glad they are not DEAD.. I would rather foot half the diff surrounded by the bill and a regular bill. While they should have told you give or take a few the problem it is also your job to be sure to check unit. If their bill was that glorious, they should have be overcome by the fumes. It doesn't take much..
You did not right to be heard how high the bill be. I had a renter that chain their bike to the gas meter, and it started leaking on the renters side. I would not rate the bill...
How do I apply for Public Housing contained by untried jersey?
I did this in san francisco and I wound up on a record for the projects. I know section 8 is seperate but that will pinch years. I'm trying to find housing that is similar to 30% of your income. Like a place where seniors/disabled family live on SSI.Someone said to apply for public housing and I sure will but what is that exactly? is that the projects? it's so different out here than in california so I'm ever so confused. I keep typing surrounded by everything and calling people but I'm not getting the right answers. So, unsophisticatedly I just want to know where on earth do I go to apply for housing where on earth I only wage 30% of my income. thanks.
Answers: You would still apply for it at the Housing Authority within the county in which you intend to live within NJ. The Housing Authority has different programs, one which is public housing (where they rent out the properties that they own).
