Is this true?I went to a contemporary home builder, and the salesperson told me that we (me and my pseudo husband) could combine our incomes to qualify for the home we wanted, even though my pseudo husband have terrible credit? Is this true? I qualify by myself, but not for the house we want. We CAN afford it together, but he have terrible credit, and I never considered have both of us on a mortgage loan for that reason.

I own my condo (but when I initially got the mortgage I be 26 on my own) so my mom signed as well.
