Renting Real Estate Questions and Answers

I live within a rented house ?

Hi i live in a rented house and today recieved a dispatch from the council for an application to carry out a detached dwelling-on park adjacent to my house. However to provide this house near a garden, the landlord wishes to remove half the garden , the sheds and brick out-houses, which i use for adjectives my storage needs (with have 5 children ) he never told us that he was going to do this and plans own been draw out. Some of the neighbours and obviously me are against this idea, Where do me and my family unit stand and if this goes through how long will the application steal? we have merely signed the contract for another year, not being made aware of this till today ..

Answers: Unfortunately, you don't own much of a leg to stand on, since you are renting the property, the landlord have the right to do anything with the property that he wishes to, UNLESS, the storage shed is part of your rent amount and contained by your lease. If it is included, then your proprietor would be breaching the lease you just signed and you would know how to move out. You need to first read your lease cover to cover and see what it say. If he was simply allowing you to use the storage shed for free to be nice, next you can't really do much in this skin.. then you will probably want to agree to your landlord know your concerns and initiate looking for a more accomodating space for you and your children, since storage is definitely far-reaching when you have children, I agree to that and I just have one child. If your innkeeper is understanding, he will possible allow you out of your lease. Best Wishes!
Cupid is correct, unless it states in your use agreement that you are allowed. IE: you paye for that area. he can do what he wishes. And even if you do paye for it, If you disagree he can just donate you your notice to exit, or wait till you are due to renue your use and refuse you. (i know, im a landlord) All you can do is get hold of the other neighbours together and contact the planners and object.

Questions roughly speaking renting contained by the City of Houston?

I have a few question and seek some guidance. I have sent a formal complaint reminder to my landlord asking for repairs.

1. Two window leak hose down in and he stated he would come within and seal the window, obviously have not come to the apartment.

2. The door on the gas stove requires excessive force to close and the gas stove is within 1 foot of the hose down heater.

3. The breaker trips excessively (at smallest 5 times a night) on the circuit. There are no grounded outlets but i know some building were exempt from that depending on their age.

4. Numerous doors will not shut or close.

Basically i voiced my concerns and he asked me not to call for the city on him to look at code violations because he stated that it cost him 75k the ending time that happened to him. He stated he would return with the repairs done, but he still has not even contacted me. What should i do?

Answers: I would consider moving...sounds similar to a slum lord to me...

What are College requirements to become a real estate agent?

Answers: Depends on the state you want a license in. Some require college level courses that can be taken through an approved real estate school.

Check with your state's DRE website
Check your local state website for the information because as of last year the requirements in Ca have changed. You can take courses through either a real estate company or independent real estate school. The college courses that they ask you to take would be an accounting class, real estate law, and maybe a general administrative class.
