Renting Real Estate Questions and Answers

Raising rent surrounded by PA?

My landlord of late told me that she is going to raise the rent as of March. It is going up $100. My lease isn't up until August. Can she lift the rent even though I have a valid lease that states the amount currently. I only just reread my lease and nowhere does it say she can lift up the rent but it doesn't say she can't any. I was other under the print that a lease is a valid binding contract and the rent can't be raised until the lease is up.

Answers: When you are on a lease and that lease is current the proprietor cannot increase the rent under any circumstance
My Old hotelier tried raising my rent by $30 four months until that time my lease was up...He raise everyone's rent in the building & said it be due to increasing oil costs (my roast is included in my rent..) I never give him the extra $30 until after my lease was up and he never said anything I deduce legally because he couldn't. A lease locks within your rent and that's the only benefit for the tenant...why else would a tenant sign a lease?
Generally up to $30 for a rent increase is run of the mill anything over that typically means your proprietor is trying to get rid of you. Did your proprietor give you a cause as to why he/she was increasing your rent? If I be you I would prepare to look for a new place after your lease is up.
Inform your tenant in writing via certified e-mail with any return or receipt requested that you will be adhere to the terms set forth surrounded by your original lease until the termination of said lease.

Since that lease does not expire until August, no expressions may be renegotiated unless both parties agree contained by writing.

If you don't agree, the rent can't be raised mid-lease unless within is a provision in your lease that states otherwise.
She can't elevate the rent until the old lease is up . conceivably your landlord should re read his/her lease . If the rent go up then she broke the lease and you hold two choices . Put the rent in escrow until she fixes the rent , or , move . You didn't break the lease , she did .

Answers: You might be better past its sell-by date doing the following:

1] Renting a room - with warmness and utilities included.
2] Going to the "Housing Authority" in the county where on earth you're working or a county close to where you're working and getting on the waiting detail.

I KNOW here in PA, the waiting interval is over 2 years. I don't have any theory how long it is in any other state.

Thanks for asking your Q! I hope this help.

Are there any real estate agents who sell timeshare?

Answers: I tried a real estate agent to sell my timeshare 4 years ago and had no luck. Truthfully after a month I realized that the Real Estate agent was just waiting for someone to walk into their office to buy my timeshare. Never going to happen. I did a lot of research and read everything that said not to pay an up front fee. Well I found http://www.buyatimeshare.com and figured it was worth a shot I had tried other cheaper sites with no luck. Buyatimeshare.com offers a money back guarantee so if I was to sell it with a cheaper site within a certain percentage i would get my money back from them.

I knew I was going to sell it so I figured what can it hurt. Good company to deal with I actually ended up selling my timeshare in 6 weeks with them. Had many offers and questions for the first month then finally got someone who was able to buy it and ready to buy it.

Buyatimeshare helped with all the paperwork that goes to the closing company and made the process really effortless. I am not sure I would have known how to get my buyer financing and even do the closing.

Since then I have rented a few timeshares from their website as well.
To resale or rent a timeshare is a hard task, the basic rule is not to pay money up-front, don’t be another victim of a scam. There are some free classified adds where you can post it and get some results:
