Can a debt collection agency put a lien on your house if the deed is not in your name?

Answers: No, and they can't threaten you either. If they do, tell them to put in writing and you will pay them.
no, but even if it were, in Massachusetts, I would assume everywhere, you can file for a homestead, so that your house is exempt from personal debt, as long as the house value is below $500,000

Is it possible that a forclosure loan go together would be smaller amount than 5000?

I see so many foreclosure book which shows remaining loan balance of smaller number than 5000? Does it mean somebody doesn't enjoy even 5000 to pay bad their home loan? Some listing say load be a foil for of less than 2000? is it possible that a house is self foreclosed for not paying last 2000?
Am i missing something?

Answers: Sometimes houses are sold contained by foreclosure for plain old spinal column taxes. That could be less than 2K. Even if you owe subsidise sewer taxes your home could be sold in foreclosure. My mortage company didn't rate my sewer taxes for a quarter (1K) and my house was sold for 1K.(House be worth 335K n I had a 122K mortgage) I have to fight them & I get my house back, because my mortgage be current & it was the mortgage company be at fault. Always hold an eye on your mortgage payments & make sure adjectives payments to other vendors (sewer/taxes) are rewarded. Hope this helps! :)
Yes, you are misinterpreting those data. Those are not loan balances surrounded by entirety, but are generally the amount of payments on the loan which are surrounded by arrears.

If you're thinking that you can buy one of these properties for $2000 to $5000, it won't happen.
