Next year would be even better but if it must be this year then as late as possible is the right answer. Almost every market will continue to decline into 2009. December has less home buyers due to the holidays so you have less competition and many homes that are on the market will be desperate.
There's absolutely no reason to rush buying and there's plenty of reward for waiting by way of lower purchase prices. Interest rates should remain low for quite awhile as well.
Trying to time the market will just give you a headache. If you're ready now - agent lined up, mortgage preapproval, house picked out, color palate chosen - I say go for it!
Not all markets are as depressed as others. While it's true that some markets continue to decline, this is hardly the case across the board. In Southeast Pa, the real estate market has not seen the doom and gloom days that Florida, California and Detroit have.

I got a big problem. A few years ago I moved support home knowing that it would be tough trying to find a home again with impossible credit. Now I'm no longer given a chance. I enjoy until March to move back out. Looking for something better than newly a room. 3 Day Notice to foot or Quit -- Tenant option?
My brother lives in sub-housing. He is poor and have been within and out of work. He owes 3 months back rent and be giving a 3-day notice to vacate or pay today. He purely found steady work but hasn't gotten his first paycheck yet (which wouldn't even be adequate to cover the 3 months back rent). He should be on Section 8 but the county doesn't own record of it. I told him to call upon the housing authority in his county but he didn't take very far it seem.Last resort would be the family get together and pays off his rent, but we want to avoid that if we can. He tend to be a mooch if he can get away next to it because he wants the uncomplicated way out. Although we won't tolerate him go homeless we want him to fiddle with things himself if at all possible.
Are within any programs that can help him forthwith with the rent wage?
Answers: Well, his options are plain & simple. Pay or quit. He wishes to learn responsibility. He know the rent was due even though he lost his opportunity. He should've taken any job to settle up his rent. He's 3 months late! Plenty of landlords would enjoy given him the boot after 15-30 days! He was given plenty of time!
I know a girl in his shoes. She took a duty as a clerk in a dollar store and sold avon on the side. It not here her little money to her name, but at smallest her rent was remunerated.
I know you don't want to bail him out & frankly, you don't have to. He chose this warfare, you don't have to struggle it for him. give him a loan. Make him payment you back, if he does not, sue him. He definately desires tough love, or he will continue to mooch because he can. If he is on his own, he is infirm enough to know and adopt responsibility. The choose is yours, however I would LOAN him the money not GIVE it to him. I know how it feels to not want to see a relatives member on the street, but sometimes that's whats needed so they can snap support to reality.
If he is truley as poor as you articulate, he would have sought parliament assistance about 3 months ago! It's not too belated to see if he is eligable. Have him contact his local department of welfare to see what kind of programs he may be eligable for. Go next to him if you must for added reinforcement.

Personally I think you and your loved ones need to stop bailing him out of situations approaching these. All you are doing is enabling him, not helping him. Let him revise the hard process what will happen when he doesn't retribution his rent. I know it sounds mean but sometimes situations close to these require tough love. He'll never learn if you do everything for him.
But its not your opening to do this for him. He needs to numeral out what to do himself.

Your brother should be appreciative that the landlord have allowed him to live there for three months in need rent. I don't mean that to nouns snarky, but your brother should understand that the proprietor has be very accommodating and that very soon he need to come-up next to the money or move.
Having the government or charity bail your brother out does not see him to be responsible, but merely work the system. Also, three months is a large amount. I enjoy heard of agencies and churches making a one-time one month salary, but not three months.
It sounds like he is at the "ultimate resort stage" now. A court eviction will be much more expensive for your ancestral to bail him out of and it will be a major hindrance for him to find a new rental. So, very soon is the time for your family reimburse his rent if that is what they're likely to do.

FYI - most housing authorities are separate and distinct entities from the county they service so that could be another source why they have no diary.
However, with an eviction on his register and a judgment against him, it is feasible that he won't be approved for Section 8 (that is one of the reasons why benefits are terminated).
By sub-housing, do you imply subsidized housing? And if it's subsidized, who is it subsidized by? Has your brother contacted them?
Are you or another family beneficiary willing to allow your brother to move contained by until he gets "fund on his feet"?
