My neighbour who lives below our apartment, file a complain for creating crash, where on earth as it is the other style!

We live in a 2 storey apartment within NC. Our neighbour who lives just below our apartment, have filed a complaint against us to our apartment controller that we make too much rumpus and that we have loud music, holler and stomp on the floor!!

All this just because sometime his music was so loud that our entire apartment be literally vibrating, and my 10 month out-of-date baby woke up from his sleep and started crying, my husband go down and knocked on his door politely and told him to lower the music as our apartment be shaking!

He lowered the music but instead 3 days later go and filed a complaint to the apartment organizer that we make soo much disturbance. Now the apartment manager have sent us notice that this is against the lease and if this happen again the neighbour is free to call the police and that we are warn!

What exactly should we do in this situation? Should we turn and talk to him? Should we also wallet a complain against him to the apartment manager?


Answers: First stir to the manager and explain what happen so that any further problems that occur they enjoy the heads up. Next don't verbs to much because if they did this to you they will do it to others and create a record of trouble beside their name on it. If for some justification they do call the police freshly explain to them. I give you props for going obverse to face near them first however since they did this to you I would avoid contact so that they don't cause anymore problems. If they are to loud skip going to the superior and call the police because if the police show up when their music is that loud they enjoy no deffense.
The landlord did the right piece. but you may also do the same, This let you know that you have a convulse on your hand.

Actually anyone can call the police, and if the music is turned up, don't even bother knock on his door. Just call the police on HIM. THat is their position. The man has proven disruptive to your peace.

If he files against you, the police will own to back up his story, or he can be sued for false statements. It is not his word against yours, It is a permitted matter.

In My city it is not decriminalized to play music so loud that you can hear it 100 ft from the source in the daytime, and 50 ft at darkness.

It sounds like you're dealing next to a real push..but he could be a vindictive jerk..as you are thinking.Talk again next to the apartment manager...but he's really not going to do much..as near is not much he can do. so after going around in that circle of verbiage...da ...How in the order of you try really hard to be friends? Make a plate of cookies or something polite..both of you knock on their door and "offer a piece offering.." most nation, even idiots, will think afford some thought to the situation after you leave and pretty much move off you alone from there on surrounded by.
DON'T get into the activity of who's at fault here. APOLOGIZE for any inconvenience you may hold caused..( that really get them)
and say that you will do everything possible to be apposite neighbors. DON"T play the blame game..it take 2 to play...let him try to play it alone, it won't work! Be polite..be friendly..even throw surrounded by something like "we really want to be upright neighbors!" There are a lot of spooky population out there and he may be one of them...this should work...be nice..be friendly..be of a mind to take the blame...smile...and will.. Don't forget to leave the cookies ...brownies are even better (looks resembling you went to more application...and make the plate more or less 2 dozen..the more on the plate...the quicker his attitude will change. Answers: Your local bank is the best place to start. If you enjoy the proper income, and good credit, If doomed to failure credit, good luck within this time period. I used Old National and Regions financial long ago.

Answers: Shoulda gone to Judge Judy (or the like). A judgment in small claims court is great - but with no debtor's prison in the US there's no way to make anyone pay. In "The People's Court" you would have gotten your money from the producers before you left.

I you mean you want to collect the money, the court office will advise you how best to go about it.

I just use a collection agency. They charge nothing until they get your money. They charge 15% after the fact, but you get 10% interest on the amount due, so it is not so bad.

If this does not work you go back to court with a contempt charge (you have a court order, not a regular bill) and the judge signs for you to garnish the wages and tax returns from the scum bags. In CA you have to give them a freakin' year before you can garish their wages.

Don't worry about knowing where they work. The IRS does, you just need their SSN.
Short of attaching wages to collect the judgment which in some states you can do in others you can't, you won't be able to do anything. You have your judgment, but that doesn't put the money in your pocket and that is where as landlords we get screwed.
