Are there any reasonably priced rental apartments in the Florida Keys?
Answers: Rent is pretty steep down here - the Upper (Key Largo) and Middle Keys (Marathon) are cheaper, of course, than Key West. You may find something reasonable in the Lower Keys (Big Pine Key, Cudjoe Key). You can always try a roommate to help out.
Most rentals in that part of Florida are seasonal -- you'll pay much more during Snowbird Season (now) than you will in the "off-season" (after Easter up through September). You'd be better off renting a place in Ft. Lauderdale (about 200 miles north) and DRIVING to the Keys on weekends.
Even then, expect to have to come up with first month's rent, last month's rent and a month's security to even MOVE IN.

However, you may want to hire your own definite estate agent. They will guide you through navigating the ins and outs of legalities.
Whatever price you want to buy the property for, I'd say-so bid $20k+ under that price. That give you room to negotiate. The seller will unambiguously come back at you next to a counter offer. I'd bid low low low within today's market.

There are a few different ways this can happen, and some of it depends on the law of your state.
If the house is listed by a Realtor (sign within the yard, MLS number, lock-box on door, etc) you can:
A.Contact that Realtor directly and update them you want to put an offer within on the house, and you have no representation. They will seize you the proper contracts and help you stuff them out.
or
B.Get your own Realtor to help you negotiate a price and stipulations, arrange inspection, obtain area comps, etc. You acquire much more info on which to base your bestow, and you don't have to clear for it (Buyer's agents split the commission with the selling agent-if you hold no agent, the selling agent keeps the full commission)
If the house is being sold by the owner, and that owner is not a Real Estate Broker, you can
A. Contact the owner directly and read out you want to buy the house for $210K, and agree to hire a closing attorney (or title co.) draw the contract and close the sale,
or
B. Hire a Realtor and own them negotiate a buyer's side agent's commission with the hawker to provide both you and the seller near appropriate procedures and documents.
If the Seller is a Real Estate professional and is selling their own home, get your own Realtor.

If the house is up beside an estate agents just phone them up and bring up to date them that you want to make an propose on the property.
