Are top floor apts/condos safer than lowers floors?(from crime)?




Answers: I like top floors because you can sleep with your windows open and not worry about someone climbing in your window. Another plus to a top floor apartment is that you don't have to hear your neighbors walk above you.
First floor has the highest crime because of the windows (more accessibility) - after that, there isn't a statistical difference between second and third floors.

However, on the flip side, being able to get out if there is a fire is easier if you're on the first floor.
