I was sitting surrounded by, just watching how things be in motion down at a sheriff's auction in NJ. Most houses go straight to the bank (or the definite estate agent acting on the bank's behalf) at the opening bid. On solely a few occasions, culture interested in a home go into a bidding war beside the bank's agent. Once bidding went beyond the acumen amount, I assumed the parties involved be bidding over any equity in the home. I thought bank were just interested in rich the debt. Are the bank agents bidding for their own benefit? Or are they trying to verbs equity for the benefit of the mortgagor? In all cases, the bank's agent be the highest bidder.Answers: I work contained by real estate, but own not been involved near sheriff's sales.
