What is an affordable, past the worst town in a 30 minute commute of Boston?
I'm going to be moving to the Boston area inside 6 months, from Connecticut, and would like to know a town where on earth $225,000 can get me a nice house.Answers: Summerville?

My husband and I are looking to purchase our new home. We hold found a few that we like. However - since we put in an grant we want to know how some history about the house. My friend told me that in that are free websites where you can put surrounded by an adress and it will give you previous owners and how much the house be previously purchased for and all that correct stuff. I have be looking online and the only sites I can find enjoy fees. I don't want to spend anything since this will probably be the only time I inevitability the site. If anyone have any GOOD and FREE sites that can grant me Property records on specific address I would appreciate it! Thanks! :)Answers: Sure those websites exist. They're not free and you need to be a realtor to access them. It's call realcomp. You can't even get into the site in need a password.
The information you are looking for is public Record. Meaning that your local county Recorder's office will own it available for free. Usually they have computer's contained by their office and you can look adjectives day long for free. If you want to print something they usually charge a small excise, but looking is free.
Some counties have their own website and provide this information online for free.
First rotten, you can go to your county's clerk and recorder's bureau and look at all of these history for free. The only cost would be if you required to get copies of the paperwork. They're adjectives public records.
Second, sometimes your county have this information online. Just type in your county designation and the words "property information" or "public records." If it's online, it will be free, also.
Third, why not hire a Realtor to look out for your best interests (and also to bring all of this public information for you). Typically, the Realtor is remunerated by the Listing Company, not by you. Interview a few Realtors and see who you feel comfortable near. This person can help out you through the entire buying process and make your go a whole lot easier.

Answers: Probably not. If you can get creative it may be possible to get it done.
Your best bet is to paydown the balance on you mortgage with cash to escrow. Do you have any other assets that you can sell to make up this difference?

It is possible, not probable. I absolutely would not do it, though, because you do not want to owe even more than the home is worth in this market. Think of this, you'll incur between 3% and 5% of the loan amount in closing costs just to do the refinance, and that will go on top of the loan (if you don't have the cash to pay it). Then you owe that much more on the home.
If you're even able to find a company to do over 100% loan to value, they're going to charge you for it. And they're probably crooks, too.
Pay down your note, and refinance when you have the equity to do it.
Generally not, but if you contact your mortgage company, you can probably negotiate with them, and get them to change your mortgage to a fixed rate for on average 5 years. With Countrywide, I know that if you fax in 2 months pay stubs for all borrowers on the loan, along with a letter of hardship stating why you can not afford for the loan to adjust, they will consider you for a fixed rate. With all of the pressure from govt, the mortgage companies know that they have to work with borrowers to stop all of the foreclosure. Good luck, its hard when you are upside down in a home, and the rate is only going up. Hope you get it sorted. =)
