I am looking to purchase a home for a single 25yr female. I hold poor credit and do not know where to start.

hi my house payment is 1986.00 a month. my pmi is over 500.00 of that. anyone else own that problem thanks


Answers: That seem high! I deem around $200 might be more reasonable. Maybe if you own really bad credit they would charge that much for pmi though, I don't know. I would christen around to a few local banks and return with estimates from them. If they are better, you could always refinance (although afterwards you have to clear all of the closing costs)

Are you sure the $500 per month is not the escrow for taxes and insurance?
That can not be right,
How much do you owe?
How much is the house worth at the time you got the loan?
Wat is your interest rate?
Is this a 15 or 30 year loan?

Is your house allowance principal, interest, taxes, insurance and PMI? this may be your problem right here with the math?
That seem really high. For someone beside average credit and putting around 10% down you should be paying $150.

The only entry I can think of is that any you are calculating the escrow payments in next to that $500 or maybe you bought a house next to 0 down and have really fruitless credit (a credit score contained by the 500's).

People getting po'd more or less pmi have get to realize, there are consequences to not paying bills in good time. This is one of them.
