Answers: You can contact the housing authority and they will give you the address of the nearest homeless shelter. If you do not have children you can only stay there at night. If you have children you can stay until the weather gets better.
You can also simply ask any police officer, they know where the shelters are because they are responsible in the wintertime to take homeless people there when the weather is bad.
I wish I had your answer. It interests me because our daughter is out of work and had to move in with us. We are wihte if it makes a difference.
