How can you rent it out if you don't own it. If you want to rent it what difference does it make if the owner have paid it past its sell-by date or what its value is? Its zilch to do with you. My lease expired on 11/30/07. (6 month lease) My landlord took and currency my rent check for December. On December 28th I recieved a certified letter from the manager that my lease had expired as of Nov 30th and he would renew for another 6 months if I salaried a $200.00 increase. You should refinance to add your pet name to the title.
