I am looking to put an offer on a VA home down for $165,000 in a suburb of Milwaukee. It have been programmed for over 2 months. The tax register shows that it was purchased a year ago for $145,500. Any recommendation on what I should offer? I am aware that the VA homes don't counter propose, so I want something that will probibly get official, but not pay too much.Answers: If you really must hold the house to be safe step with 160,500. Sounds flawless and looks about equal. I'd take it if I be them.
Maybe get the home appraised first. See what they enunciate the house is worth and go from in attendance.
I wouldn't want to pay any more than 155,500 for the home. That give them 10k in a year.. You never want to over reimburse on a home. My suggestion offer 155,000 and if they don't thieve it then jump find another house!

There is no such point as a VA home.the fact that it's financed lower than a VA loan has NOTHING to do when making an submit.
The owners are NOT the VA on the home...it's the people whose name are on the title, and they are free to negotiate the price however they wish...freshly like any other homeowner.
