I'd simply write out..in professional wording, that you hold decided to vacate your housing (not renewing your lease, if you have one) on such-and-such a date (30 days from when you hand contained by the letter..though usually the first of the month) and are giving your manager official interest of this. Create a "line" below where you will be signing your pet name, and another "line" on which they, too, will sign their name. Make a copy of this and make a contribution it to your landlord..or you can simply create TWO of these documents..everyone signs both, and respectively keeps one of the copies. That style, they cannot tell you that you didn't give an account them you were going away, and try to screw you out of your deposit (at least for the "not giving notice" reason.)
ALSO..you might want to include an addendum to this form that includes lines where on earth each jamboree signs when the keys are returned. Include a spot for the time and date.
