Will new airport close to my home in lynn haven fl increas my prop. value if it is zoned comm.,3 blks from bay
Answers: If there are going to be businesses opening around the airport, your commercially zoned property may increase. But if it is a small airport, it is unlikely to draw related businesses and due to traffic and noise, your property value will go down.
If your property is zoned commercially then it could but if you are in a residential area it will decrease your home value due to noise and traffic increases.
Can I rent my house with a faulty pool filter?
Answers: Why not just get it FIXED?
Get it fixed or drop your rent to NOT include use of the pool and don't expect your tenants to maintain it.
No way would I pay for a pool that would have nasty water in it.
Of course with the knowledge of the tenant, reduce the rent and ask it to be repaired by the tenant. By doing this you get the fault repaired and on the other hand the tenant is also in the picture.
If you think to let with out knowledge you may get exposed when the tenant finds it.
Sure, but make the future tenants aware of this fact. Better still get it fixed, both you and the tenants will be better off from fixing it. Otherwise the question of it getting fixed will come up again during some stage of the tenancy.
Landlord abet, anyone...I'm going to murder her loud neighboor!?
OMG! This is so uncalled for. We moved into this fourplex last week. And out of the adjectives week we have have one good hours of darkness of sleep. The lady who shares a wall beside us is so loud! She is having relatives in adjectives night that are bang on her door. We think she is dealing drugs near a buddy out of her place. She is slamming stuff around. I went to bed going on for 9:30 last hours of darkness and slept for about a hour consequently it was rap. She wasn't home yesterday durning the day and it be so peaceful. Once she get home loud city. They were combat last darkness. We called the cops similar to landlord have told us to and they cannot do anything. I'm sure they are getting sick of us calling. She was still making echo at 5:30 AM needless to articulate I didn't get much sleep and the child was up at 7. I'm hunch it today. We have remunerated our deposit for this place and rent, but still haven't signed a lease. I called the hotelier last darkness and let him know. I'm going to verbs my hair out staying here. *cont*Answers: Send your proprietor a 30 days notice that you will be moving.Check beside your local laws around how long they have to return your deposit and "remind" them of that beside your 30 days notice to move. You may own to take them to court to attain it back, but they cannot lately keep it.
You own to stay somewhere else to get some rest? That's of late wrong. If the LL won't do something about her, move and sue him.
There is a item called a warrant of habitability.
You own to be able to reside surrounded by the place you rented. You have one and the same rights and privileges as an owner, on property under your control.
I don't know where on earth you live, but in my City, State for that event, if you get call on domestic disturbance, somebody is going to jail.
Good Luck
I feel you need a further crack at your landlord because he have a responsibility to ensure you have a acceptable level of hushed. This is a habitability factor and she is interfering with the inert enjoyment of your property. I dare influence you can get incident reports from when you've call the police.
I would suggest you make copies of those reports and document what you've said here--note sunshine by day when there's an uproar and what it is (banging on the door, blaring TV, fighting). Start that log today. Compose a epistle (and you have to be ready to follow through on this) stating that if this matter is not resolved contained by 5 business days you are moving and you expect your security deposit backbone. If the landlord does not comply you will sue him surrounded by small claims court and file near any applicable agencies where you live about landlord-tenant law.
As this is a fourplex here should be another neighbor who shares a wall with the gibbering woman. Talk to that person and see if he have complaints as well as that strengthens your baggage.
The landlord should evict her if she's constantly carrying on--I can't believe in that is a lease out there that doesn't include crack issues.
Seek another place and do a good post of checking on who your neighbors are and how the management feel about boom.
If you find a great apartment and plan to be there for years, you might also consider chitchat to a landlord more or less soundproofing. Here's one site with some info:

Good luck, you will want it.
I know exactly how you feel. I moved into a condo my father owned and the renters subsequent door played their stereo at all hours of the morning and night, they threw party all the time where on earth their guests spent all their time sagging out in the parking lot sitting on cars because her music be so loud, it started the minute she got home and go most of the night, the bass on the stereo be all we could hear it vibrate throughout the condo, walls vibrated and pictures did too, I could not seize away from it. It affected my work, my enthusiasm etc. We called the police but everytime they showed up she turned her stereo down. We would ask her to turn it down, but the subsequent day it would be right rear legs up again. When we complained to her Landlord and the home owners association it suddenly turned into a racist thing, we be complaining because she was black and we be racist. When you play your stereo full blast constantly I don't care what color you are you're an inconsiderate a$$hole.
This go on for over a year and there be nothing I could do, the cops eventually caught her and fined her and she come to us to try to work things out for us to tell her when it be too loud, I was so frazzled by that time I practically go off on her recitation her she was a stupid *** and I own told her time and time again her stereo is too loud and we shouldn't have to "let somebody know her" when it is.
Because I owned it wasn't as easy as lately packing up and moving, eventually she moved out and I got the first apposite night's sleep in over a year.
In your crust you need to narrative the noise, video cartridge the people coming and going adjectives hours of the night, if she is a tenant of your hotelier then it's your LANDLORD's responsibility to do something to rectify the problem. Try to explain to your manager that with this woman living next door she will never hold on to any renter in this element that she will continue to enjoy issues with this tenant. It sounds close to this lady must sleep during the time if she's at it all darkness long. Time for some payback, turn your stereo up full blast bang things etc BUT maintain an eye out incase she calls the cops and turn it adjectives down so when the cops show up tell them that it wasn't you.
Everytime this woman goes at it adjectives night long, CALL your Landlord and complain, eventually your manager is going to get really sick of these call and she might do something.
Send a letter and give an account her that you are giving her 14 days to resolve the issue, explain that if nothing acceptable has be resolved that you will be vacating and you will be expecting the repayment of your security deposit. If you did not sign a lease to rent consequently all you are required to do is impart 30 days written notice to vacate. Give the Landlord 14 days to resolve the issue after explain if it isn't resolved then you will move out 14 days following.
If you DO not want to move due to the expense, then contact your consumer affairs department and find out how to escrow your rent. If you stop paying your innkeeper and escrow your rent then surrounded by order for your proprietor to get any money they will enjoy to fix the problem. If you choose to withhold your rent make sure it's done officially otherwise the landlord have a right to evict you for non payment of rent.
Good luck to you, I perceive your pain I've be there and I can't think about hell being much worse.
