I want to sue my innkeeper over unpaid keyspan (gaz) bills?

My verbal agreement rent (brooklyn New york) beside my landlord since april 2002 be $ 1000 with him paying the keyspan bills that be in his designation.On juin 2005 we agree (with a witness) to put the bill on my name, clear for it and take the set off from the rent.As soon I change the bill on my given name he refuse to wages for it and I and up paying my full rent $1000 and the bills (otherwise hi will said to move)and now I can do it any more if I ask him to rate for it he will ask me to leave the apt. Can I sue him for adjectives the bills I pay for.If yes can somebody please direct me how to do it?I don't own any Idea.

Answers: A verbal agreement isn't worth morth unfortuantely. Most predictable the person who over hear it is a friend, with bias. In which the Judge will pilfer with a small piece of salt. You can still try to sue him within small claims court, however it will not change your tenant rights. Without a lease, they can endow with you just 30 days to go and get out.
No written agreement and you have allowed this for 2 1/2 years so I would enunciate do not waste your time.
You can report a small claims suit for almost anything but will you win is the question and this time my answer is NO.

Answers: These websites pull information from public history and do not update them if the house is redeemed or sold. You enjoy no way of knowing.

About once a month, i return with a call from someone who subscribed to one of these sites and the house is not for public sale. The house was any never in foreclosure or be short saled.

I think the foreclosure sites are a total debris of money, but there are a ton of them out in attendance and people liable to pay.
