Can I afford it??
Just a quick one guys :)I currently earn $707 a week (after taxes) and am looking to rent sometime (by myself) soon - do you have an idea that i could afford to pay $250 a week within rent?? The only other expenses are food, petrol, dampen, electricty and $50 a week in train travel fare.I currently have no loans/debts...

Answers: Generally you don't want to spend more than 25% of your PRE-TAX income on rent. My guess is your $707 after taxes works out to close to $1000 pre-tax. This would make the $250 per week contained by rent barely affordable.
I would try something rather less expensive and engender sure that you had salaried off your debt, your student loans, your credit cards and have started saving for that 3-6 months of expenses reserve that everyone should enjoy and so few of us do have.

You are not saying $ 250.00 per month, are you? $ 250 per week is entirely too substantial a percentage of your salary to be spending on rent. . The behind the times ratio was one week's rate for one months rent. Your monthly rent equates to $ 1,083.33 per month. Don't you think you should hold savings, a break fund, or retirement account?
How can a tenant who requested you don't smoke surrounded by house/apartment detail that you hold be smoking?

Any non smoker can relate the difference. We know if the hotel room is a smoking room or non smoking. I have friends that smoke that cant inform the difference. Everybody that doesnt smoke can tell when the door open.

Just wrote and noticed you added something. The hippy lettuce is incredibly easy to check. They can lately take a peice of mat or paint. Its there. Plus you can share if they are smoking the hippy lettuce when you walk surrounded by. Its not hard. You cant receive that smell out. You have to repaint and trade adjectives the carpets.
Smoke slickly travels to units above and nearby -- even below. Also, look at your exterior door thresholds, you'll probably see grim around the door.
I would tend to agree that cigarette smoke does more damage than marijuana smoke. However, it doesn't situation how "clean" someone is. Unless you're repainting, thoroughly washing your hearth rug, cleaning window coverings, and outlets respectively month, it's always assured to tell if you are or own previously smoked inside your unit.
To those that don't smoke.you can pick it up contained by a second.
I used to have a roommate contained by college, that smoked, and I was a non-smoker.but agreed to bring her as a roommate as long as she didn't smoke in the apartment.
She would sometimes and "sneak" to smoke within the house in the morning...and when I come home 8 hours later (b/c she go to classes later than I did), I could smell it when I come home.
I can tell by the stench. I can smell marijuana surrounded by a house for many hours, but on a character only an hour or two. Non-smokers will smell it long until that time you will simply because you do not register it. The same goes for dog owners, they hold no idea how discouraging their homes stink.
