Simply by going to a site and posting a notice/ad you are looking for a room mate, is not going to assure or guarantee you'll get a correct room mate.
You want and need a room mate who will:
1] Help you lift proper care of the property - by cleaning up after himself or herself.
2] Pay the generous share of the rent and other related expenses for the property - on-time or ahead-of-time.
Make some inquiries about a room mate lease or room mate agreement.

I'm considering a move to the Scranton/Wilkes Barre PA area, but am surrounded by need of more info, preferably from residents within the area.(1) Where are the majority of job advertised?
(2) What areas are fully clad to live in, and which areas are slummy or unsafe?
(3) If in attendance are areas to live that you would NOT recommend, what are your reasons? And what is appealing something like the areas you do recommend?
(4) Do you have any other info, tips, or comments in the order of the area?
(5) Besides the All-American White Church-Going Christian majority, what sorts of culture is contained by Scranton? ie, arts community, non-Judeo-Christian organizations (Buddhist, Pagan, New Thought, Hindu, etc.), alternative form community (massage, yoga, etc.), and so forth.
