Filing for homestead for property purchased 2007?
we just just now started mortgage on our new house (sept 2007). I noted within one of my things to do is to file for homestead. very soon i forgot how and what things I need to database for homestead. can't contact my real estate agent. the property is contained by Houston. Thanks in creditAnswers: Without being to wordy ... I enjoy provided the links you need to accomplish your objective!
You need to directory your homestead ASAP through the local county tax assessor's department.
You will lose your opportunity for homestead if you wait too long. In my county, if you fall short to file by March 31st, you will not attain your homestead for the previous year (2007).
Call the county tax assessor's organization and see what they need, and if you must spawn an appoinmtent.
They will most likely ask you to sign a form aphorism that this is your primary residence and you qualify for homestead.
They will also want proof of residency - like a TX driver's license showing your current home as your primary address, utility bills with that address, conceivably even the closing statement from your purchase of the home, etc.
Don't wait. Call today.
Good luck and best wishes.

Can she buy property in the UK near her own money or is there any law preventing non citizens from doing so ? No mortgages completely self funded.Answers: of course she can.
There are no law whatsoever that prevent a non-UK national from purchasing a property in the UK. People do it adjectives the time.

I purchased a condo individual told i could rent it out weekly, presently they are unfolding me it is against the bylaws!?
what can i do? i can not make my mortage recompense with monthly rent. do i own any recourse?Answers: Do you have this within writing?
If you have it contained by writing that you can rent it out ,I would go ahead and rent it out and next sue them if you are stopped.
If you do not have it surrounded by writing ,I am afraid you cannot rent it out legally.
I would and so take legally recognized advice
Did you not read the bylaws since you even made an offer to purchase?
You should hold, and if that was the purpose of purchasing it, you should own paid an attorney to read and review it.
Who told you?
This is another example of freedoms anyone eroded, or the tyranny of HOA's being imposed. Did a Realtor make available that advice? You could hold an issue with them.
I see that we own a Realor in the post above this who didn't mention this and appears to want to blame you instead of a Realtor.
Did you read the bylaws beforehand you completed the purchase? You should have be given a copy before you closed on the condo. If you weren't given a copy, you should hold asked for one.
The bylaws should spell out any restrictions on renting. If the restrictions are listed, consequently you don't have any recourse. If nearby are no restrictions in the bylaws, consequently I don't see how they can stop you.
if u have the 'rental part' surrounded by writing u have recourse. if u do not own in writing , u hold legal hassle.
who 'said' u can rent 'weekly' to be precise the person u hold recourse on.
how ever right now u requirement second third jobs to brand name enough money to reward ur payments and to build money for legal court costs.
find a latest realtor and put it on the market.
TODAY.
any endorsed recourse can take 3 -12months or more.
the property home owner association bylaws are your responsiblity to read within full b4 purchase. sorry reality bite.
The bylaws clutch precedence. They can force you to sell if you do not abide by them. Since it wasn't surrounded by writing, (or was it?) at hand is no recourse. Sorry. Good luck!
