Answers: Go find a reputable mortgage broker. They deal next to many bank, so will get you the best rate. They don't charge you anything; the edge gives them a referral duty.
A good broker works next to your best interests in mind. But at hand are bad ones, who will steer you to doomed to failure deals. Ask question. Read the contract before signing. And stay away from adjustable rates.
Bankofamerica purchased countrywide just now...look for them to take over the open market
My parents in florida added my name and my brother's in title of their house. could we take our names out ?
Answers: Why would you want to? This is mostly done so that if something happens to them you wont have to fight for the house- because it will already be partially in your names.
It doesn't make sense to remove your name from a property's deed. That gives you rights to the property in the event something happens to Mom & Dad.
It can be done by filing a quitclaim deed at the courthouse. A QC deed simply states that any rights or interests you may have had in a property are given up.
The thing I don't get is why you would want your name removed from the title of a house. Your parents obviously thought ahead to ensure you would have no issues in claiming your rights to the land. Why rock the boat?
All it take is a quit claim deed from you to the remaining owners to get off the deed.
I an not sure why anyone would want to do that.
