We signed a 90 day contract next to a real estate agent to vend our home. During that 90 day length he was supposed to peddle three times in the local solid estate magazine -- well he goofed and advertise four times. He called us and said that he would not be charging us the $600 for the ultimate advertising because it be his error. I also have an email to that high regard.At the end of 90 days he have not sold our home, so we went near another agent and the home sold within two weeks.
We get the bill for the advertising from the first agent and it be for 4 advertisements. I call and he told me, well I should own had the mart, so that is money I am out and you will own to pay for it, because you switched agents and lost me a commission.
Answers: He should not be charging you for any public relations, that should be on him, one of the costs of selling a home. I have sold a dozen of mine and never rewarded a dime over the agreed commission.

to filch you to small claims court, but I think you would win.
If the story is correct, later NO you owe him nothing. If reality, had he tried to get hold of the 4th ad, you would own owed him nothing.

No he can't, he have a fair accident at selling during the 90 day spell. He did not, contract up, so boot him, and the next guy have a fair coincidence. Did the job right. You don't owe for 4 ad, he goofed not you.

I contacted an attorney and be told to tell the tangible estate agent to stick it. I sent the letter to the agent and haven't hear from him since.
