Renting Real Estate Questions and Answers

How long do mobile homes concluding surrounded by Alaska?

Although my parents are giving their house to me, I want to move into the big city and study. I can't afford those regular homes and I don't want to rent, after I come back I can rent that place out and go and get my $ back unless I opt to live there for good.

Oh and I plan to have a roommate to support me pay for that place! So it will concerned of be like getting it for free.

What do I necessitate to know about mobile homes? Double huge or single? Is the space rent the same for both types? The age, repairs, pricing, lot, and financing.

Thanks.

Answers: I live in a mobile, albeit approx 5000 miles So. East of Nome, and enjoy been to Alaska, and noted oodles mobiles, as well as parks.

What I own no clue about is who manufacture for Alaska, and if any additional considerations are surrounded by effect, for AC/Heat, electrical amperage, and connections, Plumbing, especially, and how a mobile might be enclosed around the usual 18 inches or so, Underneath. I'd approaching to think those issues are taken into depiction, more so than they would be in So. Central FL.

On a personal memo, I wouldn't live in Alaska on a lifelong basis.

Certainly a Single, especially if contemporary or recently manufactured, can be as yawning as 16 ft. and as long or short as 1, 2, 3, bedrooms and single or multiple baths allow. A Double can be anywhere from 24 wide to 32 wide open, commonly, and again, long or short depends on bedrooms and baths more than sizes of living rooms and kitchens. Also washer dryer space can either be hugely awkward, or an added room. Assume a size range from 700 sq. ft, to as much as 1400 sq, ft. plus/minus.

Anything manufactured from the deferred 90's on, might have 1/2 drywall, as opposing older at 1/4 inch, and possibly even usual 2 x 4 studs, as opposed to 2 x 3. Your issue is a bit confusing as you state you're man GIVEN a "House" yet want to move to and live "In City". Does that anticipate that the GIFt is in reality a Mobile?

I have no clue what space rent or pricing for anything is contained by Alaska, but you should assume that a Double rent might be a bit more than a single, though not neccesarily double the cost, and some parks may not allow a mixing of the two types, simply to STUFF more mobiles onto their available land.

Maintenance is similar to any other house, surrounded by the usual, general sense, and in need at all knowing what this GIFT is, I can't really contribute suggestions that might relate, with respect to what is still OK, and what might need upgrading. Central heat would be better than most others, insulated EVERYTHING, shou;d be a top priority, given that Mobiles are exposed under the frame, as is the plumbing, electrical, etc. The ROOF is also a critical issue. At the completely least, within Alaska, the mobile should have a "roof over" or should hold been manufactured next to a roof similar to a stick built or block house.

I guess I could go on, and I'm sure within are millions of detractors out there. Some of us want a place to live, but can't afford $350 K for a 1200 sq. ft. tract house.

Financing is unlikely, especially within a pre-owned, though there are Mtg. companies that specialize within mobiles, especially in parks. I look for Dutch auction by owner, and/or financing by owner. Taxes are usually low, but you'll need to "register" it and draw from a tag, much approaching a vehicle, each year. A mobile, here within FL, for tax purposes, usually diminished within assessed value by approx. $500 per year.
sorry to burst ur bubble.
u should not buy property of any big-hearted untill u finish ur studies and have work 2 yrs or more while good up lots of money.
renting is a proper choice while being a broke student.
mobile homes are a depreciating asset (lose money). ur cost will be more than u numeral or have. P&I lone accounts for 40% of real costs on homes.
as for long distance landlording of one proeprty to be exact a great way to lose money gaurenteed.

Are mid-terrace houses smaller number plausible to suffer from subsidence?

I was wondering in the order of subsidence in a mid-terrace house. In a veranda if one house subsides does the whole lot? Or is it the pause terrace that is to say mire at risk?

Answers: it depends where the glitch is that is cause the subsidence.

If it is in front or put money on of the terrace it is predictable to be affected.

If it is to one side of the courtyard it is unlikely to be affected - depending on how far you are away from the artificial property and the severity of the subsidence

I live in florida, i would like to refinance , it is a good moment? is the interest going down ?

Answers: Rates have fallen a good bit and now's a good time to refinance. This answer list will probably get spammed by some shady offers, but get several quotes that include rates and total closing costs, compare and make your choice. In Florida, there's a good chance the value of your home has declined if it hasn't been that long since you bought, so that could be an issue. Good luck to you.

Interest rates are heading down for sure and will continue downward in the month's ahead. If you have the equity and are doing a simple rate and term refi, the next few months will be a good time. Much will depend on the amount of for sale signs in your area.

If there are a substantial number of signs that could pose a problem, not many signs in all the areas around you, that's a good thing. Much of the state of Florida has been damaged by the wild speculation that took place from 2001 to 2005 and sellers are facing the music now that the "party is over."
