Help beside eviction interest surrounded by Alabama?
We have rented our house for almost a year.We own told the landloard many times more or less repairs. The attic has lent piled up contained by one corner from where the dryer hose wasnt attached when the ultimate people where on earth here.I wrote to the BBB about it and the tenant said it wasnt lint.Near the back door the not easy wood floor is spaced apart and pulling from the wall due to water disfavour from the last general public that lived here. The landlord said oh its nil to worry something like. The floor there is super cold due to the mischief. Both the front and back door dont enjoy weather stripping and cold air comes thru in that. Our dish washer doesnt work and the tolets run 24/7.The roof had a escape that we were told be fixed.Well we noticed it wasnt and in a minute it leaks ever time it rain. The pest control guy came and made file of the repairs and sent it to the landlord.Nothing is fixed to date.We be seved a eviction notice for not paying rent,I told manager that nothing would be salaried until its fixed. Can he evict us for this.Answers: Yes he can evict you.
Torts for failed repair (lawsuit) does not hand over the renter the right to withhold rent by agreement. You agreed to pay rent respectively month for the dwelling. You must pay this.
Any problems near the agreement (lease) must be handled by a seperate official action. At which time the courts or a Judge can hold the rent money in lein until the luggage is settled or repairs done.
By taking the "law" into your own hands, you contained by fact own broken both the law and the rental agreement.
If you want to withhold rent you call for to find out what the laws of your state are. There are consistent things you must do before you of late stop paying rent. First you must give the hotelier written notice of the problems beside the rental unit. You must enlighten him that you are giving him until a specific date to correct the problems and that if the problems are not fixed by that date you will withhold rent.
Once you actually capture to the point of with holding rent you MUST friendly a bank sketch and put the rent into this account. It will be fundamentally very unpromising for you to walk into court and relate the judge that you own not been putting the rent into this justification.
The landlord owns the property he can database for eviction any time he wants. Will the trendsetter side with him? That will depend on how discouraging the issues you are complaining about really are. It genus of sounds like you moved into a dump and very soon want the landlord to turn it into a palace. Maybe it is time for you to freshly move? If you do go to court bring pictures, witness statements and conceivably even repair estimates.
Good luck.
There is a small home that have be uniform for roughly two weeks in a minute?
and no sign has be posted wether it is for rent, sale..etc...My boyfriend and I enjoy looked at it(peered thru windows) and looked in the fund yard and we seriously approaching this house..How and were do we progress about finding who owns it,,and it its going to be available for rent...etc..Answers: Go to the county office and research owner and mortgage company. It's possible it's a foreclosure, but the bank hasn't assigned it to an agent. You might collect yourself some money. When you call the lender, as for the foreclosure department. Loan officer will only want to flog you a new loan thru them, which is fine, but first you want/need to know around the house you're interested in.. Good Luck
See if your county levy assesor has this info online. If not, you can walk look up the public records. Looking at the public annals you'll also find out if it was a foreclosure.
You could also ask a local Realtor. They may ask you to sign a buyer's agreement formerly doing research on it, but if it isn't available they could find similar properties for you.
Ask the neighbors.
See the County Tax office.
Where can I find listing of foreclosed properites for Canada?
Answers: I am sure that by now you've realized that when you do a search for foreclosures they are all American. The way to find them in Canada is through a real estate agent. Most banks hire a real estate company to sell the property for them. Some Realtors will let you set up an account and have updates on foreclosures sent to your email address. (this is how I do it)
CMHC does have lists but they don't really hand them out to the public - do you happen to know anyone who works there? They also give out the foreclosures to Realtors - they usually work exclusively with one or two companies (depending on the size of the city). You can ask some of the real estate companies if they have CMHC listings.
It is rare that you'll find a bank that sells their own foreclosures. Sometimes with some luck and maybe knowing someone in the mortgage department you can scoop them up before they get listed - rare occurrence..
Hopefully this answered your question.
Good Luck.
