Florida residents?

live in jamaica queens contained by new york, near my husband and my son . we are planning to move to florida but we are unsure of what city out there is best for us to draw from a decent work and to help my son grow. we are also planning to buy a home and i started the investigate. we found some decent home within northport, fl. but how is it in the neighborhood and academy wise. (violence) or boca raton? gratitude for sharing

Answers: how did you come up with these two cities... they are extremly different from respectively other... i mean really different.

Boca Raton is for the most portion upscale. the average cost of a home is over 400,00 while North Port offers homes only just over 100,000... the average pay is double that of North Port...

Boca Raton is located on east cost between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale on the the deep. while of course North Pork is implicit Punta Gorda (nice area) on the west coast and is inland but close enough to drive over to the seaside for the day (no top on west coast though)...

Boca is located in Palm Beach County, which happen to be one of the top school districts within the state and all four big schools surrounded by Boca are highly rate...

Where would you fairly live?

In an apartment or house? and why? both renting though..

Answers: I agree that I'd rather live within the house. No immediate neighbors is a big attraction.

Balance that beside the fact that it will be much more expensive to live contained by the house (even though rent is even). Your utilities will be much higher contained by the house and you will pay much more within gas (because of the increase in driving). So they really aren't impossible to tell apart cost.

I'd probably still pick the house.

good luck!
If I could afford to I'd much a bit live in a house. In an house you enjoy much more freedom to do as you please, but in an apartment you're much more constricted. One instance is that contained by an apartment you are contractually forbidden from using a heater of any type... no concern how cold it is. Another is that with an apartment they can forbid you to not put confident things on your walls. In one apartment if I put something that was beyond repair, then when you hand down it is considered their property... even though YOU paid for it.

How to choose the best house to flip?

what to look for when buying a house to fix up to resale?

Answers: Unless you're already independently wealthy and can afford to hold onto the house I would not even attempt to "flip" a house contained by this market.
Just as an insert to the other fine answers. Don't forget to get a home inspection. I can't narrate you how many times a TRUE estate investor- flipper, has purchased a home in need one and found problems that a home inspection would have prevented. When flipping you enjoy to look at everything; roof down to the foundation. Not many homes can be flipped beside purely cosmetic fixes. There are too many focal systems in a home to allow this. Don't verbs about the $ 300-$ 400 cost of a home inspection when it could retrieve you thousands in other repairs.
