I am a New Yorker, but my mom wants me to move down to NC becuase we can't afford to keep hold of living up here. I do not want to live in a approaching redneck area, or a heavliy populated emo colony... i can't move down nearby becuase i have lived contained by NY my whole go...

Answers: Of course you can move. Having lived in NY adjectives your life is not a aim. In fact, it would be fitting for you to experience a different area. NC is not a redneck nouns, there are nice places, some very well populated and others sparsely. It is a beautiful state. don't brawl it and do as your mom tells you. You will be better sour financially and you will probably get to love it.
Although we are becoming NJ/NY within the South and should discourage you from wanting to move here... I will say that most of the areas you would consider moving to are not "redneck". In reality NASAR and traditional "redneck" trappings are as prevalent in NY state as they are here.

Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, etc will be your best best.
If you lived within a big city You can live any where. Every one involve a change sometime.
I live contained by NC and to my surprise it is not that country at all.
Now my unproved home town is California and then I moved to Mississippi and in a minute I live in North Carolina . North Carolina is not as vigorous a California but no way in close proximity as slow as Mississippi . NC turned out to be a well round mix of the both. Theres deeply to offer contained by NC great College's good school
give it try and if you don't resembling it when you are all grown up you can live where on earth every you want
I can't speak for Raleigh, but if you move to Charlotte, where I am, you will find company.

There are so tons "Yankees" that have moved to Charlotte and live surrounded by HUGE houses that they are paying cash for, that they never would enjoy afforded had they stayed within NY.

Charlotte is far from a rednecked city, and at least you don't own to deal next to the homeless bums and dogpoop at every corner.
I have a daughter that lives contained by Fayetteville, NC and she loves it there.

When property is in probate does the family have to continue paying mortgage payments?

Answers: Yes.

If not, it could be foreclosed on. If nobody can make payments then the fiduciary may want to sell it. If there is no money in the estate to pay it and you want to keep it, then keep making payments.

The one thing about probate that's messed up is that the family is not protected at all in this case. It's a damn shame too.
Yes, payments still need to be made, unless you can arrange otherwise with the mortgage holder. If the mortgage holder insists that payments continue, they should be made from cash assets in the estate of the deceased. If payments aren't made, you can expect a foreclosure action from the lender.
