Decent, cheap apartment surrounded by western Kansas City?
I'm 18 years old and currently a senior contained by high institution. I'm planning to move to Kansas City after I graduate at the end of the summer and I obligation to find a studio or 1 bedroom apartment that's decent and lower than $500. I'd like it to be contained by Kansas preferably as close to Shawnee as possible. Does anyone know of such a place?Answers: If you're going to work and/or go to college in Kansas, you would particularly want to live on the Kansas side. Do you have a county nouns? Shawnee is in Johnson, which tend to be pricier than in KC.
You could use KCSTAR.com or APTFINDER.com (better choice IMO) to back narrow it down per nouns. If you're already in the KC metro, stop by a Wal-mart or gas station and pick up a rental list. They're free and that's how I've found a few decent places to live. Some of the places within the Johnson county area extend employee discounts if you work for one of the big corps, Sprint, Yellow, Applebee's, the close to. Check for specials, too. Some will give you 100 bucks bad first month's rent if you bring in a coupon from RENT.com or APTFINDER.com.
I of late checked at APTFINDER.com and there are plenty of places underneath 500 bucks in the Shawnee nouns. Just remember that you pay for what you attain and that the closer you get to KC and the state column, the more questionable the neighborhoods can be.
I would also suggest you check out APTRATINGS.com once you think you've found a pious place, just to grasp some feedback from someone who's actually lived here.

Is it possible for them to turn around & trade it to me for a minimal price ($1.00) & then I be in motion & refinance the house? Answers: If you do not qualify to buy it you will not qualify to refinance it. He can not justifiably sell the house short competely paying off the loan within the first place. He can not sell it to you for $1 if he owes more later that on it.

In a HOA Meeting requiring a quorum, can general public proxy themselves to grace with your presence the engagement to gather round quorum?
I'm referring to a Home Owners Association that requires a certain number of nation to be present to establish a Quorum; Can the proxies that are sent out prior to the meeting hold a box to check that says "Limited Powers (check if appropriate) I specifically instruct my proxy to classify my vote for quorum purposes only."Answers: I doubt it, but you'd enjoy to look at your HOA bylaws to know for sure.
Especially when you consider that the purpose of the quorum is to ensure that enough voting member are present to vote on the business at hand, representing the club's interest.. So if you dispatch a proxy, it wouldn't be fulfilling the purpose if it prevented the person from voting for you. There's no such item as a vote for quorum purposes.
Consider this also. Let's say that eighteen those are present at a meeting, and ten of them get your hypothetical quorum-only proxy. Well, if there are eighteen individuals present for the quorum, then any vote would require 50%+1, or ten, affirmative votes to elapse -- which would be impossible since only eight citizens would be voting.
