Proof of income I don't work...?

Okay I want to move into a new apartment, they said I call for proof of income. what is it and how do I get it? this is my first time on my own I DON'T WORK!

Answers: consequently how in the world will you income your rent?? Just where are you getting this money if you dont work? Sounds approaching you need some growing up since leaving mommy's and daddy's house...
If you are not employed it is patent that you are not able to establish to a proprietor that you have a working income. If your income comes from other sources, such as a trust fund after you will need to state that on your rental application.

If you are given up the ghost and you do not have an outside income source after you may find some difficulty with getting your own apartment.
If you enjoy cash...as you claim...travel in and ask if you can earnings for the duration of the lease up front.no reasonable apartment superintendent would turn that offer down.
Otherwise you will have need of to proove where your money comes from, or return with a co-signer
where is the money coming from if you don't work? - they want to receive sure you can afford to pay the rent
Just inform them your situation...they just want to variety sure that you will be able to retribution your bills and they won't have to evict you. If you cannot prove income, possibly you could find someone willing to co-sign next to you. Good luck.
they need proof that you enjoy a steady income or they aren't going to rent to you. if you're parents (or someone else) is going to foot the bill, then they will have need of to co-sign the rental agreement making them responsible for payment

Who's insurance is responsible?

In a recent storm a section of my home's awning (sp?) be ripped off contained by the wind and very soon the roof is leaking. My property superior implied I should contact my renter's insurance carrier. Is this covered by my renters insurance or by the owners home owners insurance??

Answers: Damage to the STRUCTURE is the resposibility of the tenant, not you.

Roof damage cause by wind is an achievement of God.

Renters insurance only covers restricted liability to the structure, should YOU accidently damage the property, and your contents and loss of use surrounded by the event of theft or a fire or other impairment where you can't stay nearby.
To make things easier for both of you I muse I
would contact my renters insurance company as
suggested simply to find out from them who
should actually be file the claim.

They might just share you that it is the homeowner who
should be filing a claim. I don't mull over the wind is
something you could be held responsible for.

Does the awning belong to the homeowner or is
it something you added to it latter?
Homeowner's insurance should cover those kind of costs. Call your insurance company and see what they enunciate. They will let you know almost right away who is repsonsible for the damages. Most renters insurance pays for the damages incurred to you-not your landlord. Just resembling your landlord's insurance covers property damage-not you or your personal belongings.
