Should she gain her deposit backbone?
my flatemate moved out last week, it be her choice. usualy when u leave a place, it is the duty of the human being leaving to find somene else or they loose their deposit. we enjoy nt found anyone and time is running out. she says it is not her responsiblity and that she should take her deposit back, we disagree, because she hasnt occupied the room and who is going to pay feb's rent? from a decriminalized view who is right and who is wrong?Answers: What is a flatemate, a roommate? I never hear when you leave a place it is your duty to find someone to verbs, nope, she is right, you should give her the deposit fund. You need to put an tag on in the broadsheet to find a mate.
I don't see why it should be the renter's repsonsibility to find new business for the apartment building. Sounds pretty bizarre to me, but i'm American so the laws on the subject of these things may be different where on earth you are.
But wether it's her "responsibility" or not, it depends on the contract she signed, if it says that as a condition for acceptance her deposit back, next she's hosed, otherwise, as long as the place is in apposite condition, then she should seize to have her deposit fund. Reading the contact hopefully will make that adjectives clear.
If she is on the lease then she have the responsibility but if its just you afterwards legally its your responsibility.
How long does it steal to do a credit check on you to rent a house?
me and my bf have found a house we close to to rent but are subject to a credit ref check we handed teh agent the forms monday not hear a thing is that pious or bad? if it be bad surely we would own heard by in a minute? how long does it take?Answers: Credit checks clutch a couple of seconds for someone who have access to the system. If you haven't heard backbone either (A) they haven't gotten around to it or (B) they get around to it and your credit is bad (which is why they haven't bothered calling you back). I'd impart them a call.
I am an estate agent my self.
Most estate agents use an external firm to bar the credit check, employment history and the landlord mention.
The credit check and employment history takes a few hours to return but the innkeeper reference can appropriate days depending on whenever the landlord chooses to respond.
Sinking House?
We went to see a house I really loved. It is 25 yrs feeble on a slab foundation, and hubby thinks its sinking at one side. I honestly didn't make out anything. We would get an inspection, but in the past we go through the process of offering anything, what kindly of money/work is involved with fixing a log home on a potentially sinking slab foundation? Thanks
Answers: Concrete slab I embezzle it? might need to be underpinned to bedrock, depends on where on earth it's built, i.e. where the sea table is etc, condition of ground etc. Get an estimate from a builder who can actually see it.
you will hold to call the home inspector to find out. but if you love the house it will be worth it. apt luck
