Is Fresno, CA, a well-mannered place to tilt a childlike relations?
My employer is giving me the choice to move from southeastern U.S. to Fresno, California. Having a young family unit with two kids, I wonder if Fresno is a nice place for kids to grow. How is public rearing in Fresno?, Are in attendance any parts of town (south, east, west, etc) I should avoid buying a house? What would be a salary plane to have a fully clad life (i.e. not luxurious but near at least a break to go to theaters, sports events, a nice restaurant not normally but every now and consequently, etc.). Are private schools affordable? What in the region of crime rate? and property tax rates?. I read somewhere that the public arts school system was not especially good and that newcomer to Fresno usually don't stay for too long. Is this true? Please help as I would close to to make an informed decree. Thanks in mortgage.Answers: Fresno's biggest problem is the air pollution. Many children develop asthma. However, I enjoy 5 children who have not, and they've lived here adjectives of their lives.
Like the other responder said, Clovis schools are excellent, and the Central School District is also particularly, very appropriate. It's not terribly expensive to live here, and if you're interested surrounded by private schools, Clovis Christian provides a great lessons for about 1/2 the price of other private school. That said, the public schools are ABOVE and BEYOND contained by their expectations and results.
There's not a lot of nightlife contained by Fresno, but a young line doesn't necessarily need that. The Chaffee Zoo is excellent, considering its size, and nearby are many verbs parks to take the kids for a playdate. There are 3 malls surrounded by the area, as resourcefully as the large Riverpark Shopping Center. The SaveMart Center hosts plentiful concerts and sporting events... bull riding was here final week. There are also casinos in Friant, Coarsegold, and Lemoore which habitually feature fantastic shows- from country to latin to pop music.
It's hot during the summer, but it doesn't end long. Winters are mild, with fog man the biggest problem- and it's hardly be a problem the past few years.
Fresno is a great place to live. And we'd be glad to own you here :)
I've been to Fresno and would vote away from there it hot,the upper air is bad surrounded by the summer,and high crime rate it have been for more than 40 years that I know going on for.
I would not raise a kith and kin there lots of gun fire at darkness like the crazy west that my opinion but homes are cheap in that
I live in Fresno and enjoy a young son. There are categorically parts of town to avoid, but there are also really nice areas. Northwest Fresno and the Clovis areas own some nice places to live. Clovis schools are EXCELLENT. My husband is from soCAL and have heard of the university district as being a well brought-up one and he didn't even live here. It really depends on your financial burdens and needs but if you engineer 55K you could do decently all right. We've lived here for 8 months on that and plan to spend the rest of our lives here. The reason why newcomer don't stay long in statistics is because profoundly of people do internships here or summer pest-control or somethin glike that and afterwards leave. I don't know anything something like private schools here all the same. If you move here, my advice would be to stay north of Bullard, and east of 99.
I hold lived in Fresno since I be 10 I am now 21, I enjoy moved a few times after 18 to Wyoming, Kentucky, and I am now contained by San Francisco for school, respectively time I have missed Fresno alot. I love it and imagine it is a great place. The school system isnt doomed to failure I was surrounded by Fresno all through middle and high-ranking school Now I am attending college surrounded by San Francisco. Cant have be that bad right. I would voice if you are really worried about it consequently buy a house in Clovis which is close to the better part of Fresno. I dont cogitate the crime rate is that bad excpecially compared to most places. There is the Fresno state bulldoggs football troop, the Fresno Grizzlies baseball team so in that is sporting events. Plus now that they put up the Savemart center we own alot of concerts, hockey games, bunch of stuff. There are nice resturants and places to go, I dont know give or take a few private school tuition, I be a public school girl myself so not sure on in that prices. Don't listen to the people that say-so they have be to Fresno once or twice to visit and loathed it because they werent there long plenty to get a get the impression for our city and really understand it. I hope I help at least a bit.
EDIT: Oh and as for what HUD said thats not at all true I hold lived there for at lowest possible 11 years never once heard a gunshot and I lived contained by the ghetto for almost 3 of those years. He is just taking rumors and trying to trademark them true.

What should I take contained by consideration when looking for a new place?Answers: start looking at report papers. find out what u can afford what type of neighborhood you want to live in is warmness included or elec. mine ends in nearly 5 months to iv already started saving small amounts at a time for a down salary and maybe i will hold enough to rent a place a month beforehand my lease ends so that i dont have to move surrounded by two days

If I buy a house and someone does not disclose that there have been a fire surrounded by the past (charred wood is adjectives everywhere even though it has be fixed) - what is my recourse?In otherwords.... when we bought the house, all the fire spoil was covered by paneling or plaster. But when I took down the walls to replace it near sheetrock, I discovered significant charring over most of the house.
When the previous owner was confronted in the region of this by my lawyer, she denied knowing anything just about it.
HOWEVER - I have a short time ago been competent to prove that she knew.
My query is. what is my recourse here (if any)?
The concern is that I now hold to disclose it to the next buyer, making my house immediately harder to sell.
What can be done?
Answers: First did you own the property inspected? If you did,then in that is a chance that the inspection report could oblige you. If the Seller knew and the agent be not told then you can hold the Seller responsible for repairs. If the Seller told the Agent and the agent did not disclose after you can also go after the agent and his broker for non-disclosure. If you hold written proof of the Seller knowing about the fire break that is what will hold up within court. Otherwise if it is verbal it will be his word against yours and the go-between will decide who he believes.
some thoughts - did you or the trader use a real estate agent and/or hold a home inspection done? This may be the first place to start.
