How can my husband & I be added to my parents house action and mortgage?

My parents are having a complex time keeping up with their house payments. In an attempt to liberate the house, they have asked my husband & I if we want to move contained by and be co-owners. How do we go in the region of this?

Answers: ask them to add you.
The problem w/ one added on the title is that you lose any step-up cost basis benefits..down the road..

it would be better if you become their "tenants". With a lease and everything
Being on title doesn't put you on the mortgage.

You can help them out by helping them take-home pay for it and you don't need to be on title or the mortgage contained by order to do that.

Personally? If my parents needed back, there is no instrument I would ask to be on title or the mortgage before I would sustain them, NOR would I do it if they offered.

They took care of you, very soon it's your turn.

MTGE and TITLE reps please ... Feds dropped Mtge rates by 3/4 pts ..?

What does a No income No asset program for a 30 year fixed rate look approaching today ?

Answers: About the same as later week. Fed rate has no direct impact on Mtg rates. Watch the bond souk if you are really interested.
Just b/c the fed rate dropped doesn't automatically tight-fisted that the interest rates of mortgages dropped.

You'll have to dally and see.

And so many more wonderful programs that I'd be here typing all day.

Just because there aren't enough homes out there for those that are able and too lazy to get a job and pay rent doesn't mean that HUD should be to blame.

I hope that helps! You should publicly apologize.
