How much do apartments charge for chunk of the month?
Our lease is up on May 9th. Our rent is 1,310 and they are charging us almost $900!! I figured that they would charge roughly $400. I'm going to go down and reach a deal to them about it within the office. They have to have made a mistake because doesn't that nouns a little ridiculous for 9 days? Has anyone have a similar experience with this back? If so please let me know what should be done.Answers: I can't speak for how any other landlords do it but when I enjoy tenants move within during the month, I pro-rate the FIRST months rent. So if you moved in Jan 15 and the rent be $1,000, you would pay $500 for Jan and your lease would be from Jan 15, 2008 to Dec 31, 2008 or 11-1/2 months.
There is satisfactory to keep track of lacking having lease end on different during the month.
Some places won't agree to you PAY for a partial month. You pay for the in one piece month, even if you're only nearby for a week. I'm moving in March and my ending rent payment near be for the entire month, even though I'm moving before the 10th of that month. I'm also paying a month's rent for the place I'm moving to, even though I won't be at hand until the second WEEK of that month. They don't (or won't) pro-rate.

i do know facts reg. this iss the land lords are investors and my boss and this other p enjoy 3 diff. Co they do 1st manfactured home dealer who i wk for, 2 co is environment devlp. whit owner carry register when ready 3rd is buy and build specs to flog quickly. they typically dont rent just ply supporter. a person who they purchased MFH and environment from found a loop hole after they had rewarded for property rehabed and was almost in position for sale. short story perv. opwner destructed here property was mortal held on 4 felony account. and somehow be able to outstandingly quickly capture huge judgements against them but just notify near account . DA call to say cant procute due to defaulting on judgement. my prop. is under that comp. landscape lord has no existing answers for me waiting on there attor. but presently in this sitution he doest give the impression of being even willing to update lease bring there trying to find fragulent schems as a loop hole too i guess i donot hold the money to move. i did resign from wk because he feels housing is decline scareAnswers: I read this twice and couldn't trade name sense of it.

Thanks!Answers: From My own experience I have notice Apartments ted to have great specials around the mid (summer) and Late (winter) times of year. I am not too sure if it depends on your locations, I live contained by California and I have done alot of apartment shopping living here for 6 years.
