My experience, apartment hunters are within it for their own gain only. They narrate you they can't find what you're looking for, they tell you of apartments contained by the wrong locations, and they always start at the top of your budget. You're better past its sell-by date finding one yourself.

Answers: Always pay by check, never dosh. Its just easier to hold track of that way. If you do pay cheque cash build sure to get a tally from the landlord. Its probably not a worthy idea to catch a joint wall account beside your sister. Just in crust something happens you don't want to be liable for your sister. The tenant is fine with accepting two separate checks.
Well, your impression is actually right, but could potentially cause problems if it be someone you didn't know well. Since it is your sister, I would speak go for it.
This bearing you would both be able to see and own records from that guard exactly what payments etc have be made to go towards the home.

Never rate rent to a landlord within cash. Checks are preferable or at tiniest use 75-cent money order(s).
The easiest method is for each roommate to write their own check and submit the checks within one envelope.
If the landlord does not allow multiple checks, afterwards designate one roommate to write a check from their own account. Then the roommate(s) should clear the rent payor in bread or money orders so the rent payor will know their funds are available.
Opening a seperate checking vindication for rent on your own behalf is a good hypothesis. However, opening a shared checking account is risky because the other being could wreck your credit by overdrafting the checking account.

How pious an office is really depends on the Broker surrounded by charge and their ethics and policies.
