Flipping houses?

im looking into it.. im a little retiring. i would have to catch a loan. cause i most absolutley do not own the money . thats the one thing i dearth. as for carpenter i have my grandfather and his company he is a master carpenter. and as for a plumber my dad is a master plumber. so im sure they will be more consequently happy to support me out. what do you think ?? should i travel for it.?

It is a risky business if you don't enjoy the money. It's also not a really great idea to return with your family involved to assist out. They tend to not be as dependable as someone that you may be paying full price for. I started out as a fix-n-flip investor just about a year ago.

I now hold the property as rental instead of flipping because today's mortgage souk is tougher. I've found that it's hard getting a mortgage currently even if you have great credit, dosh and collateral.

I don't think it's perceptive to fix-n-flip right now.. perchance try short-sales, subject-to, or buy-n-hold.

Right now is a honest time to pick up pre-forclosures or HUD forclosed homes. People say the souk is down... I say the souk is on SALE!

Think about it, do you buy when stuff is on mart or when its at its peak price??

Dont acquire me wrong, you can still do fix-n-flips but you better have some years of experience surrounded by the current market.

HELP YOU OUT?!?!? Make them full partners so they will be serious just about it. After all, you don't give the impression of being to have the critical skills, you're just hungry for money.

Buy one trashed property from the city and do the work and flip it. (In some places you can buy crap property from the city for $1 for the mere promise to fix it up.)

Invest adjectives the money into a second trashed property and do the same. Re-invest adjectives the proceeds, don't spend any of it.

After about 3 or 4 total trash job (and the subsequent profits) make a step up to a simple 'distressed property' fairly than trashed. By this point a couple years, you should have made satisfactory for a nice nestegg.
