What are well brought-up apartment complexes surrounded by Kalamazoo, MI?

I'll be moving to Kalamazoo, MI soon and don't know the area okay. Anyone know of a nice apartment complex that's not too close to WMU's campus? I don't want to live in student apartments!

Not to mention, nearby are great pictures as well as "community clips" that can pass you alot of insight into the apartment complex. Can I ask my innkeeper to lower my rent? UK?

My 6 month contract will be running out soon, when I go to resign the lease, is it possible to ask him to lower the rent, as I get the impression i may be paying tto much?


Answers: Yes. If you have a valid source you can ask for a rent reduction. There's nought wrong with this. The worst piece that can happen is that he will voice "no" and life go on.

the operative word is 'feel'.
go out and look at rents locations square footage etc contained by 5 mile area of ur place.
u next can compare real world to ur rent costs. u may be paying smaller amount than market.
u may find some entry better or want to stay at the price listed.

'feel' is a shaky word to use in consultation.

You can ask, but expect no for an answer and be glad if he doesn't raise it instead. Most landlords do angle rent when a contract/lease is up to renew

Home discharged thru ruin?

If your home discharged thru bankruptcy, enunciate in February, how long can you stay surrounded by it before the mortgage company make you leave? Is the time similar to a foreclosure. (owner salaried home payments up to the discharge, with the thought it be affordable-no longer affordable).

Answers: I suspect that the answer to your question vary widely from state to state. In my home state the Bankruptcy Code states that you are supposed to tender surrendered property to the creditor within 45 days.

In most cases the creditor will allow you to stay until the sheriff or Master surrounded by Equity's sale which is the final step of the foreclosure process. You will later be served a writ of ejectment.

Most banks would to some extent you stay in the home until the drastically last minute. This prevents the mound from having to receive sure that the home is winterized and secured. Owner occupied homes are safer and foreclosed homes are a "free for adjectives."
