Get out your lease and read it word for word. Double check on if here is any stipulations on guests (ie how many, how hasty in am, how delayed at night, etc etc).
Unless your guest are breaking some directive you are aloud to have guest. The hotelier can however limit how lots guest spend the night and you can't consent to others move in beside you

It amounts to potentially lying or providing false information to secure a loan. The USA Government considers this to be fraud and will prosecute. The FBI is the investigating agency and if you are ever questioned and flop to them, it is perjury and you have a suitable chance of going to prison.
