Can an individuals mother rent a home beneath the premise of it anyone hers if the home is transferred to a son?
We live in the Hampton Roads nouns in Virginia and after an incident near the hot water furnace and a chance glimpse at our landlord's insurance statement surrounded by her son's name for our home, I am confused. If this house is down under her son's dub on insurance papers then it must be his home. It be transferred on city records surrounded by 2001 with no money varying hands. Her son is within college. We have 3 years worth of signed lease with her, not her son. Does anyone know if this is legalized in Virginia and also how to find out exactly whom owns the house we rent?Answers: contact local lawful aid , she may be acting as agent of son . legal.
she may not be acting as agent. unsanctioned.
who's house it is isn't as important as is she lawfully authorized to make contracts on the house.
Here is the sequence of events:
1. You signed a lease near HER.
2. You have be renting the property, and paying her rent.
3. SHE gave the property to her son (money is not required to create a valid property transfer...it is 100% legal).
4. The lease, LEGALLY TRANSFERRED to her son upon the selling.gifting of the property.
5. The lease is valid because at lease expiration, it go month to month.
However...if you SIGN A NEW LEASE with the woman AFTER the property transferred to her son.THAT lease is negated b/c you can't legally rent what you don't own.
How to be an excellent person?
Answers: No one can be exellent person but one can be closed to be exellent.
To be closer to an exellent person you you should not think of yourself only but the people arround you too.
Why is this question in real estate?
Step #1: An excellent person pays attention.
An excellent person uses spell check.
I'm sure you heard "Actions speak louder than words" Action is what people are looking for.
Superiors and co-workers also want to see leadership.
This is multi-faceted. Here are my suggestions to being excellentr and successful person:
1] Having and keeping a positive mental attitude.
2] Integrity - being honest with one’s self as well as with and to all others. NO kickbacks or stealing.
This, above all else: “To thine own self, be true! And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” William Shakespeare
3] Having an open mind.
4] The ability to learn from others AND teaching still others.
5] Having the ability to make decisions AND STICKING with those decisions. When someone asks “why?” a certain procedure was done a certain way, being able to fully explain your reasoning behind that decision.
6] The ability to properly communicate:
following directions and orders others may give.
7] Cleanliness. Period.
8] Knowing what to do and how to do it.
9] Being part of the overall team. NO job is too small. When it means picking-up that mop [or cleaning the bathrooms and/or other menial tasks] - lending a hand, it happens - without complaining.
That absolutely horrible and selfish expression, “That‘s not my job.” DOES NOT exist.
9a] On occasion, staying over to help those following you OR coming in earlier AND going to work, helping the overall operation. AND THEN there‘s that expression:
"There is no "I" in "TEAM".
10] Doing the job to the best of your ability. When there are questions, asking the questions.
There’s no such thing as a stupid question. The ONLY stupid question is the question NOT asked.
11] Having a sense of humor.
12] Being kind and courteous to others.
Footnote: AND STILL keep his/her wits about you - without “throwing”/having temper tantrums.
As a matter of fact: Isn’t it true any, many or all of the above can be divided into sub-categories?
Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! I wish you well!
