get to maintain any of the escrow money? We recently sold our home through a short public sale program and the insurance had of late been remunerated for the year out of our escrow account, we recieved a return check for it. Now I am affraid to pay past its sell-by date other debt with it for the creeps the finance company can emergency it back.What should I do?Answers: Yep, its yours. Your insurance payments enjoy nothing to do beside your old mortgage company accepting the short mart. You paid ahead and since your home is sold it is presently your refund. If here were any stipulations around the escrow overage they would have put it surrounded by their discounted payoff that they sent the Realtor/title company. I have never see this before, so I wouldnt verbs about it.

That money should be yours. It's what is gone over for the remainder of the year because remember you paid for the insurance one year up front? So that's the extra money that is to say left over to insure a house that you no longer hold. So it should be yours with no question asked. Good luck!

I just bought a house last April and want a survey of my property is there any way i can receive it for free?
Answers: No. Not unless you know a Land Surveyor. If you know one, you may ask them. I do some work for free, but it is usually for non profit groups. Why do you think you need a survey? Do you have an issue with a neighbor? Or are you looking to build? When you bought your property you recieved a deed description, that tells you where your corners are. You can easily use a compass and measuring tape (300 footer is best) to find your corners. If your corner markers are missing, you can use some ribbon to mark them out, but I would not recomend setting any markers yourself. When we (Professional Land Surveyors) set boundary markers, we set them EXACTLY where they should be and without the appropriate equipment, you will not be able to do so. If it an old parcel, chances are your markers are buried anyhow.
Most times new homeowners think they need a survey when they really don't. I would not recomend calling a surveyor unless you have a real boundary dispute going on, it can be a costly venture to have on come out just to show you where your corners are.

Question nearly solid estate. Lets utter someone is selling their home and they owe $120,000?
I go to the personality selling their home for $120,000 and say that I will tender them $125,000 and then I bring out my do business or no deal button and they speak...DEAL.. then Howie comes out and is similar to...nevermind.But anyway they accept my present which is more than they owe..my question is who else wants to get involved contained by this transaction?

Answers: Some of this depends on the state that the property is in.but you will stipulation to have a title turn out done and a closing done. For this, you either obligation a title company or an attorney - or both. You need the title flush done and title insurance at closing - this is to protect you from other liens that may be attached to the property...ie...IRS liens, county taxes that are past due and call for to be paid..judgment that have be recorded against the property. The peddler may not be aware - or may not be forthcoming with you. You do not call for a real estate agent as you enjoy already come to an agreement to purchase and set a price - that is what an agent would enjoy done.
