it would generate sense to me, however i dont know the true answer, that nobody can place a lien on your house without signed documents and the loan surrounded by place. What if at the last min ute you desire you didn't want to loan, They already have the lien on you? I deliberate for sure they'd be liable to get the lien rotten the property... Now if you owe them money thats another story but even them, it has to be brought to court and afterwards the lien is placed.
