Married in Sept. Is it better to file single or jointly? I work FT & have no deductions. My Husb has mortgage?

Answers: jointly
You do not have the option of filing single, you MUST file either as MFJ (married filing jointly) or MFS (married filing separately). Generally speaking, MFS is usually the worst possible filing status

Please relief! My mortgage company won't readjust my escrow?

My mortgage company is currently charging me 3924$ per year for taxes (they had me as an investor, but I do occupy the home) They own acknowledged that they are charging me WWAAAYYY too much (my tax bill for 2007 be only 507$ - and unsurprisingly I haven't received the check yet) and have adjectives the info they need to readjust me (dropping my monthly payments drastically) but they said that they single adjust twice per year and won't do so until June. I work in the home-building industry and own taken a large paycut. I cannot afford to put together my incorrect payment and own asked permission from the company to generate a payment of what I should in actuality owe. They refused the reward. Can the continue to charge me this HUGE amount over every month? I may lose my house over this. any proposal would be greatly appreciated!

Answers: If they won't do this, find a good Mortgage Broker and refinance again if you are competent to. This way you are taking your business away from them and starting from chisel.

If you can't, you may have to clutch a second job to gather round the difference.

Can you borrow 1500.00 from family and promise to take-home pay them back once you pocket care of the issue contained by June?

What ever you do, do not go into foreclosure status. This will stay on your credit for 10 years.

It sounds similar to the problem is with the county duty office, not the mortgage company.

The county have you listed as an investor, which appears that you discharge a higher export tax rate. The mortgage company only collects what they are told to collect by the county.

Start beside the county, have your bill readjusted and hold a copy of the bill sent to the mortgage company. This should change the escrow to the lower amount.

In regard to the taxes already paid, you should obtain a refund from the county for taxes overpaid.
