I would love suggestions on making my home look beautiful for an Open House. Beyond cleaning & removing clutter. Should I turn ALL the lights on? Keep the Ceiling Fans on? Light a Fire surrounded by the Fireplace? Put a pie in the oven? How nearly OUTSIDE? Thanks for your thoughts!Answers: make sure house is completely de-cluttered. if its a cold daytime definately light a fire and breed it seem really heat up and cosy..if showing day engender sure is seems bright and airy, if its contained by the evening use soft lighting and make the house really appear cosy. I did a lot of this kind of research last year when I was buying some apartment buildings for an investment company.
There are some details from the census information, but in my opinion the best data is from what is actually for rent in that city broken down by asset class. I would start at apartmens.com and search the individual city. But we wouldn't buy until I had called at least twenty other owners in the area and played the role of a perspective tenant to see what they would offer me on the phone.
