Can a hotelier transfer the rent amount after the lease is signed?

I signed the lease for a two br apt. and they ended up moving me into a three bedroom. They give me the key and confirmed that that would be be I was living. The lease have the amount of the two bedroom unit on it. My press now is can they net me pay the amount of the 3 bedroom when infact it is their scorn I am in a bigger apartment? FYI- I'm moved surrounded by already, all my utilies and bills are transferred already-

Answers: Only after 30 days if its a month to month...otherwise they hold to wait till the lease is up...
They can simply change the amount if it is stated surrounded by the lease! Read your lease again and again! And then again

You signed a lease for a specified amount and time time. They signed the same lease, hence it is a binding contract and cannot be changed for the term of the lease. They may own had extenuating circumstances that did not allow them to rent you the imaginative 2 br (e.g.-renter did not move, repairs needed, etc.) and rather than violate your lease, they give you the keys to a component that they had available.

(They must enjoy said SOMETHING when they gave you the key to a 3 br-why did you not ask this then?)

EDIT:If the lease specifies that part by address on the lease-they may ask you to resign the lease, but you are not obligated to do so--it is their mistake. Also, since you did not do a walk through near anyone other than the maintenence man, document the condition of the apartment. Take pictures. This could come posterior to bite you when you move out and want your deposit returned. If it hasn't been a long length of time since you signed the lease, ask for a walkthrough now!
They probably cannot put together you pay for a 3 bedroom element. It all depends on your lease. Exactly what does it say aloud? If it specifies a certain part or even a certain type of unit(2 bed and not 3 bed) afterwards they may try to change it claiming it is invalid or that they made a mistake. If they do cause that claim refuse to rate the higher rent. If it is not specific afterwards you have them contained by a bad position. In the former satchel say 'I appreciate you position--now when can I move into a 2 bedroom unit?' In the latter shield tell them to shove it but you would be predisposed to move into a 2 bedroom unit when one become available at the same rent. Don't be intimidated by threats of a lawsuit. I don't approaching to think so but this sounds similar to a bait and switch deal. You enjoy them at a disadvantage because they drew up and signed the lease and therefore they would own a very knotty time convincing a judge that you are responsible for a sophisticated rent. Try to remain pleasant but don't cave. Keep offering to move to a 2 bedroom unit--it make you seem highly reasonable and is a worthy negotiating tactic.

I hold a legalized quiz just about rent increases?

We just recieved a rental increase on the 3rd of february to move about into effect on the 3/1/08. In California, rent increases require 30 days notice. What form of legal commotion can a person run to resolve this situation? What kind of court action should a human being take?

Answers: Why are you trying to create waves over a few days? If I be the landlord I'd donate you a new see for 4/1/08 for twice the increase that I was originally asking for.
You really want an expensive legalized battle for a difference of a issue of days?

If so then turn see a lawyer.
WELL ILL TELL U WHAT U SHOULDNT DO..

SCREAM AND ATTACK THE OWNER!
You do not indicate how you received your distinguish. If it was mail timely, it's delivered in good time, as far as the law is concerned. If it be taped to your door timely, it's deliver, no matter when YOU open it.

In either event, court action is not indicated here. The BEST you could hope to gain out of this is a new month at the current rate. Assuming your are a month-to-month tenant, NOTHING is stopping the landlord from giving you ANOTHER 30-day concentration with ANOTHER rent increase, which might more than craft up for the few bucks you save by making an issue of this.

run the numbers and do NOT assume you enjoy money you do not at this time. You have no guarantees and I work out it, MI is not the greatest place to have to look for work. Things come up.
you are in a grisly market and should put on the market your home before taking on another one.
Also I imagine you need 6 months income or change reserves before buying again. Sit tight and capture those reserves built up this housing market will stay fruitless at least long ample for you to build up your savings. You are surrounded by a place where your can draw from better deals after you have suggested. I bet if you made satisfactory offers when the time comes you could catch that 250k home for 50% its true value.
There are tons of foreclosures right in a minute especially in your fastener code.

Here is a web site that will show you closely of foreclosures in your areas.
Financially speaking if you involve a new coup¨¦ I dont think your in place for 160k mortgage. Its lust a tad too much. I want to see your debt pmts less later 25% of your take home wage.
If you take home 3k a month I would approaching to see your mortgage car pmts and credit cards and adjectives debts less after $750 per month.
Your current mortgage actually fits your income pretty in good health.
To increase this amount would highly burden you and potentially put you into the situation various Americans are in.
Americans are insatiated next to housing and we are addicted to debt. I would like to see you ridge the extra 500 a month you say you can afford within house pmt for 2 years. Trust me on this the housing industry will not get better within 24 months it will take deeply longer for it to recover.
In 2 years you will get up up having a better grasp of whats going to evolve with this reduction and you will have 13,000 contained by saving including interest. The 2 years of funds will be a fake practice of your making that difficult mortgage payments.
If during that 2 years you dipped into that saving or didn't free one or two months you can assume you would have missed a mortgage pmt on the bigger mortgage you might own added.
Saving this 500 per month is about what this strange place would cost you by adding 60k debt. The larger homes costs 350 per month more within mortgage pmt, maybe 50 a month more to grill, maybe 100 a month more surrounded by property taxes. That is another 500 a month.
I hope this helps
If you can rent the elder house with a break even$$$$ or making a few $$$$ afterwards rent the old andbuy the latest house.good luck
