Thinking roughly speaking moving, but unsure - what to consider?

Been in my "dream home" for approx. 8 years immediately - have remodeled some but am highly happy here. But...the kitchen wishes work & is small/dark - hard to fix that w/out an combination! I've spent a lot of time on the patio, but it's on a hill so usable space is pretty small. I love this house & never thought I'd want to leave it, but.

Recently a house have become available less than a mile away from where on earth I'm at now, so the neighborhood is still well brought-up, my kids wouldn't have to metamorphose schools, commuting times are one and the same, etc. It is older than my current house but have been lately updated (not entirely to my taste, tho!) & is more or less 1/4 again bigger than my current place & on a bigger lot (flat - no hill!). Due to souk conditions, we can get within for a good price. I would still stipulation to do a lot of cosmetic work, etc., to build it "mine."

Two of my kids want to move, one doesn't - what else should I consider to help me agree on: stay w/ currently cosy or move to big w/ potential?

Answers: Big thing here, do you hold to sell your current home to be capable of buy the other one? If so, how long will it take you to trade, and how much money will you be able to obtain out of yours?

If the other home is all that you want, and you're competent to buy it before you deal in yours, then leap on it and get yours on the bazaar. Keep in mind that in attendance things about both homes that are not ultimate for you.

Your happiness is the most high-status thing here.

Did my apartment complex do the right piece? Raleigh, NC?

I Live in an apartment complex and I have a leaky roof. It has in a minute started to come through the wall and water results surround my electrical sockets & cable outlet now. Apartment maint. worker spray painted over dampen spots and told me roof would be patched up tomorrow, 1/8. Won't mold grow behind wall if drywall is not replaced? Is this proper procedure?

Answers: If it is a hot leak and have never leaked beforehand and has time to dry out properly, Most plausible not. If It is a old slick and is constantly wet. Probably yes.
Not necessarily...it depends on how much hose.

If a roof leak be stopped, and enough room between the walls exists to allow it to dry, the mold will not develop.

Black mold, if you hold never been surrounded by a house that has it, have an UNMISTAKENABLE odor. It smells like mildew x 1000...so if you gain it, you'll know it.

Black mold takes 3 things to grow: Heat, moisture, and cellulose.

Usually nearby is not enough grill in the winter time to allow for mold to grow between the walls, unless the moisture is substantial, and if it be an INTERIOR wall, then probability are, there is no insulation aft it to start with, hence, no cellulose.
Ask your city for a building inspection. I know Charlotte has a thorough rental inspection program, but I don't know in the order of Raleigh.
