How would I split rent when I am renting a 2 bedroom apartment, 1 single and 1 couple?

It is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, rooms are exactly the same size, I will own my own room and my sister and her fiance will have the other room. They believe they should solely pay partly the rent between them. I believe we should still split the rent 3 ways considering we each hold an income independently and we will be sharing all of the adjectives areas (living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony etc.) equally. Which is right? I guess I merely don't get the partially split because it's like they seize this awesome break on rent just because they are a couple...any feedback would be great! thankfulness!

You split the rent base on the number of bedrooms. In this case, it would be 1/2.

The electric, cable, phone, etc is split 3 ways.
