Modular home versus stick built home?

my wife and i are looking to buy a home either a modular home to place on some derelict property we have or a built home across the street be we have our withdraw from lots the house next to us is as ably newly built in good health i guess what i am asking is what is the pros and con towards a modular home to a stick build home

Answers: Modular homes are well built. They are nail and glued together because they hold to withstand the stresses of being moved down the road. Generally, they are very well insulated.

However, generally the cheapest plumbing, electrical, and power-driven devices and appliances are used in them.

The biggest downside, and undeniably this should be your biggest concern, is that they start depreciating shortly after being moved contained by. Stick houses generally appreciate over time.
Stick built homes also cost significantly more to build. Modular homes consist of more than a moment ago the 2 halves showing up on trailers and jacked together. There are several companies that build in the factory and deliver pieces that are assembled on site.

And contrary to what a couple posters own said, those types do allow for personal touches and on a private lot are NOT going to depreciate.

If you have a forecloser, how easy is it to rent a house?

Answers: I rent to people after a foreclosure if the rest of their credit is OK.
It really depends. My mom lost her house last year due to foreclosure by Homecomings doing their usual bit, she was able to buy another house even though her other one had been foreclosed on!

Sometimes the people want to get the house rented and don't run credit. All depends.

Is it true that a innkeeper most contribute you a written memorandum stating why the kept your deposit?

I heard that If your tenant dose not give you a written missive stating why they are keeping all are part of a set of your deposit within 30 days, that you are entitled to up to three time your deposit. Please tolerate me know if it's true. Thanks!

Answers: In California, we have 21 days to endow with you an itemized deduction of your deposit and to reimbursement the rest or we are liable for 3x the deposit if you sue us.

Different states have different law.

yes and no. If you agreed in your contract that the proprietor does not need to tender you a withheldment notice/reason then as you would expect the landlord don't. Otherwise the innkeeper will to give you a written grounds. 30 days is legally a drastically resonable time period for such communication. After a month you can claim treble damages (3 times your reward, in this skin the deposit).
