I am facing eviction (in 2 months) I am 32 single and work less that 10 hours a week as I own 2 children ages 4 and 8. I am currently receiving HB but I own approached the council for re housing. I was advise that it would be best for me to seek private rented accomadation which accept HB because If i accept Temp. Accomadation I would lose my housing points. I would really appriciate some positive nurture back on this please. I currently reside within the Wimbledon Area. Thank youAnswers: Go to your local CAB, If you have children you are entitled to interim housing. It may one and only be a B and B but better than nothing. Also I'm sure you will be entitled to proper housing if you enjoy children. Act quickly love and receive your mind put at rest.

You will not lose any points by being housed temp by the council at adjectives. They are fobbing you off
If the in anticipation of eviction is due to rent arrears the council will not have a duty to rehome you because they will state you are 'Intentionally Homeless'
If the eviction have not been brought on by your travels stick to your guns with the authority.They own a duty to you and your family
If the eviction is a result of your own arrangements contact your local CAB for help. They may be capable of keep you within the current home or argue with the council on your behalf.
You will find it strong going locating a private landlord liable to take on a HB claimant
It wil be terrifically hard to find a private proprietor who will accept someone on Housing Benefit. They are inveterate snobs/shrewed businesspeople who meditate only of money, they are not surrounded by the business of helping people. They assume everyone on benefits is a desperate tenant.
Temporary accommodation will not affect your housing points next to the council.
I would advise you to desire advice from Shelter, they help us loads when we were going through a mortgage repossession.

Well...I was surrounded by a similar position and I found that although there be no shortage of private landlords willing to rent to me...they be all through lteting agents...(estate agents) who be very functional but all looked-for a garantour...I couldn't find one that they were jovial with...firstly they turned my Mum down because she worked subdivision time and didnt earn enough...subsequent they turned down my friend who has a terribly succesful business and LOADS of money...because he had individual been self employed for a year.after they turned down another (retired) friend who tjough he had an excellent income...was retired...they didnt close to this fact.
If you know someone who will work as a garantour and who has a stable, full time and very well paid mission...then call in your local letting agents (more than one) and tell them your situation...they know which landlords are festive to accept benefits for rent and will make a contribution you a form to hand into the council when you find a property you want.you hold to keep looking a great deal though as some go hurriedly.

this doesnt sound right. once u are surrounded by a council temporary accomodation, they are obligated to move u to a council everlasting property. u sound similar to a perfect applicant for council housing. single, with kids, on low income, getting evicted. budge to citizens advice bureau, or speak to someone else contained by the office. and to incorporate to that its not easy to rent while on housing benefit as landlords are sick of the games that housing benefit plays. apt luck, dont let them verbs a fast one.
