Security Deposit Question?

A relative of mine moved from an apartment about 7 months ago. He say, he's owed more money from the apartment complex then what be given to him. He claims he never recieved an invoice explaining his charges. He lived there for 4 years, and admit the carpet have some stains. However, he says hes made countless attempts to telephone call the property manager, but he denies a reciepts or avoids his bid. He already cashed his refund check. I speak by cashing it, he agreed to it. He should've sued then. He requirements to sue for interest and the remainder since he never recieved an invoice, I don't think he have a worthwile case because he cashed the check and it's almost 8 months next. What do you guys think? Does he hold a case? No he does not hold pictures.

Answers: I reckon he would spend more money hiring an attorney or time off work going to court and paying court file fees for the few hundred dollars that is owed him. Chaulk it up to experience and verbs.
RealtorV is right. He cashed the check and you have no pictures. No tramp through was done (?) There be stains on the carpet and no event how long you live there they can subtract for stained carpet. If the runner stated to show wear after 4 years that would be normal wear and cleave and you can't be charged for that.

It does not work approaching that. If you want to live there, you will own to negotiate renting with the hotelier after your relative moves out.

Once the section 8 tenant have left, slot 8 has nil to do with it-unless the tenant plans on renting section 8 again.

Section 8 cannot be transferred from individual to person.

Lets turn the question around for you, if you be the landlord would you close to that your tenant was moving out not describing you and moving someone else in that you didn't approve?
You call for to go to paragraph 8 and the landlord and see if moving is even a resort. If it is then agree to your relatives move and you talk to the innkeeper and see if they will allow you to move in. The affairs of state isn't someone you want to mess with you could bring to a close up in big officially recognized trouble.
