I did it - same situation - but more pets - foreclosed home, crap credit, but I found a place privately owned, so no credit check was needed. we are nice relatives, dress nicely, hold your kids with you perform like a nice household pleasant people.. someone will rent to you. check out www.craigslist.com, and click on your state, consequently click on realestate and rentals. good luck to you! My dad used to do this and what the kids didn't shred up, the pets tore up and the smell was horrible. He done up putting a "no pets" rule in place.
